Born in 1977. Graduated from the Saint-Petersburg
Conservatory, where studied with Ilya Musin (1995-1999) and Yuri Temirkanov (1999-2000). Participated at international workshops taught by Yuri Simonov, Valery Gergiev, Zubin Mehta, Mark Elder. In 2001-2002 he was guest conductor at the Northern Sinfonia
orchestra in Newcastle.
As guest conductor he performs with various Russian orchestras: symphonic orchestras of Krasnoyarsk, Volgograd, Karelia, Murmansk, Tomsk, Sochi, Vladikavkaz, Saint-Petersburg State Academic Symphonic Orchestra, Classica Symphonic Orchestra of Saint-Petersburg, Chamber Orchestra of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic. In 2004 he made his debut with the Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic and performed at the opening ceremony of the Spanish music Festival. In 2003-2005 Andrey Danilov was assistant conductor of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody Philharmonic and music director of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra. In the season of 2005/2006 he made his Moscow debut with the Evgeny Svetlanov Russian State Academic Symphonic Orchestra. In 2007 he performed Mahler▓s Symphony № 2 in the Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
Since 2005 Andrey Danilov is conductor of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. His repertory includes La Traviata, Eugene Onegin, Carmen, Tosca, The Queen of Spades, Cinderella, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Apollon Musagète, Pulcinella etc. With the Novosibirsk Opera he toured in China in Beijing and Shanghai. In the season of 2007/2008 the premiere of Minkus▓ The Temple Dancer (La Bayadère) under his music direction will take place.
